After college, he joined an MLM company, where he performed well. It was a good experience for him, but Saurabh had more plans for his future than just doing a job he thought of setting up a business. 

After employment with the company, he opened his business venture in 2012 with his elder brother and other partners. They called this venture as USP-Uprist service portal private limited.

So what was the business, and did he succeed? 

Saurabh Bhatnagar’s business venture USP was a business model to sell discount coupons for businesses like shops, restaurants, salons, pharmacies, and other local shops. They visited customers door to door to sell this coupon carrying big bags on their shoulders.

As we know, setting up a business and earning a stable income from it is a dream for every new setup owner. Saurabh’s early business days were also not all unicorns and rainbows. They used to work 15-16 hours daily but could earn only ₹ 500 ($10) per month per individual. 

The risk in the business:

Every business person believes in taking the risk to grow their business. Sourabh and his team also thought of taking a risk and organizing a big event to give them a significant breakthrough in their business venture. 

After that, they collected money by borrowing from people and then organized a big event. However, taking risks doesn’t always guarantee a fruitful outcome. After borrowing the money, due to some reasons, they had a significant loss of ₹ ten lacs ( $15000), due to which they had to shut down the company for some time. It was a time when they had to struggle a lot. 

The ultimate struggle: Surviving the rough days

After that, Saurabh Bhatnagar had no income and had enormous debt, and he had to sell some of his items, like a helmet, metro train card, etc., to get some funds for surviving the rough phase. People often tend to give up on their dreams during such times, but Saurabh did his best to cope with the situation and strive back harder.

Learning Internet Marketing: The foundation of his future business plans

Besides his hustle life and work, he practiced internet marketing every night from 10:00-11:00 pm till 03:00 -04:00 Am every day. After that, one night, he ran a Facebook ads campaign of $20, and he earned $200 by the movement in one single night. 

After that, he understood the power of online business/online marketing. But still, he used to sell discount coupons. He used to implement everything daily, whatever he had learned.

Getting a Job: Getting his life back on track

After some time, he obtained employment in Delhi. The job was in a real estate company for a social media management post. Due to lack of money, he didn’t have any place to sleep, so he used to sleep on the floor and table in the office. 

The colleagues who worked with him in his workplace made fun of him. Later Saurabh Bhatnagar worked as a freelancer with different clients. After so much hard work and stress, Saurabh Bhatnagar’s life started on the track. 

His school buddy Mr. Gaurav Madaan became his company partner. They used to work in many online businesses, but they failed in many online companies and passed in a few online companies.

Starting a new Project (Business): Geeko Computech Private Limited

In 2015, Saurabh Bhatnagar and Gaurav Madaan founded a co- company named Geeko Computech private limited. They initiated launching their products as externship programs and online software. They worked hard in this venture for a year to achieve their goals. 

However, they didn’t accumulate profit immediately. In 2016, the first product of Saurabh and Gaurav undertook fetched a considerable loss, but they solely accepted it as a learning process and worked even harder. 

After working intensely on the next project, they saw a glance of success. The second product got gigantic earnings of ($130,000) ₹ one crore. And it was only the profit that they gained in a week! 

When it comes to their product launches, their initial products were Gramkosh and Live suite pro. After this, everything went well for both of them.
